Another morning in Bicol region, and another tropical depression. This is so frustrating but we can’t do anything, this region is on the path of tropical typhoons and depressions. Right now, majority of the streets in our place is flooded and our house will be flooded as well.

That’s life in the Bicol Region and we are always at the mercy of these natural calamities. And because of the rains and winds reaching 55 kph, internet is painfully slow and power gets cut from time to time. This is not helping some of the businesses here, and it’s not helping my business as well. So it’s not surprising that no big BPOs dare to set office here.

Based on the latest forecast, tropical storm Juaning is roughly 100 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes and moving north west. I just hope that the storm leaves immediately, it’s not helping and this is dangerous to many families here.
