Nissan is dipping its fingers once again on the sportscar segment. And this time around, it wants to go electric. Introducing the Nissan ESFLOW concept set to be introduced at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. Based on the concept, this one offers rear-wheel drive and a two-seater sports car that get its power from the laminated lithium ion batteries. This is the same battery used in the Nissan LEAF.
In a statement made by the company, this was developed in order to give an idea how a zero-emissions sports car of the future might look like. The introduction of the Nissan ESFLOW according to the company is one way of shattering the myth that says equates ecological living with act of austerity. ESFLOW they say will address the misconception.
