2008 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition

Harley-Davidson Art

What do you get if you combine the ruggedness of Harley-Davidson and the capability of a Ford truck? You get a tough, capable, rugged and the extremely good-looking 2008 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson.

This vehicle is actually the third output coming from the partnership of Ford and Harley-Davidson. Ford Motors began its relationship with Harley-Davidson in 1999 and they eventually produced the limited edition F-150 haulers. Two super-charged models were produced and introduced in the market in 2002 and 2003. So the 2008 version will be the third one coming from the partnership of these two companies. The 2008 version is also considered as the most powerful F-Series factory truck ever. This special vehicle was created in order to celebrate both Ford’s and Harley-Davidson’s 105th anniversaries. Other than power, this vehicle added a lot of style, unique badging and custom treatments inside and out.

The truck is available in either a monochromatic black exterior or in a two-tone black with Vintage copper stripe treatment that runs from the front door around the rear of the truck then set off by orange and gold accent stripes. This commemorative vehicle from the two companies is envisioned to blend the free spirit and power of the Harley-Davidson and the capability and the power of the Ford vehicles. From 1999 to 2007, the partnership of these two companies has resulted in approximately 60,000 co-branded specialty trucks being sold. Though the 2008 Harley Super Crew will feature new color scheme and new trim packages, this will remain just an update until a new 2009 F-150 arrives this fall. THis Harley-Ford vehicle features a number of unique details and accents and of course lots of power, and if you want to learn more about this then you can check it here or this may prove helpful as well. Among the more important standards on the vehicle are the Ford Personal safety System and the occupant-sensing technology for the first row passenger. The frontal airbags offer multiple deployment levels that tailor inflation force to the severity of the crash. The base price for the 4×2 SuperCrew Lariat starts at $36,500 excluding the $13,610 in options, and total makes $50,110.00. Since this is a limited edition vehicle, expect the number of vehicles to be produced at over 5,000 units.
